Woodland Creatures

Over Christmas, I had a serendipitous conversation with Rachel Morell.  That conversation led to an extreme kicking of myself for not connecting with her sooner.  She explained to me how much she loved organizing themed photo shoots in her spare time, and she showed me what she’d been working on.  I was blown away, and said I would be beyond giddy if I could collaborate with her on future projects.  Much to my joy, Rachel said she would love to have me work with her, and she brought me in on the concept for her Woodland Creatures themed photo-shoot.

Over the past month and a half we have worked together with an awesome team of college students, designing and creating and planning everything for this photo-shoot.  Rachel and I made mushroom stools and cuckoo clocks. . . she did wardrobe design and made felted acorns and countless other goodies.  We stayed at a cabin near Mt.Hood for two nights to complete the project, and the whole experience was an absolute blast.

A huge thanks to Rachel for welcoming me into this part of her life, and to the assistants and models for being such rock stars through the whole process!  For anyone wanting to host a themed photo-shoot/party, Rachel is an incredible creator | stylist | vision-realize-r to work with.  She will be releasing an exciting new brand and website in the near future!
