of gerber daisies and negatives…

I spent yesterday with my mom, photographs and negatives sprawled all over the entirety of the dining room table. She finished scrapbook 2006, and I finally tackled the dozens of envelopes filled with old negatives. I’ve been putting it off for months…okay, years. Many of them were not labeled, as I took them before my obsessive-photo-organization days. Boy am I thankful for digital!

Anyway, after frying my eyeballs pouring over negative after negative over an ancient light box, I finished. It’s done. They’re sorted. They’re labeled. Now I’ve just got to get them scanned to Cd’s. Ahhh…satisfaction.

PLUS, in my sorting, I came across a CD of pictures I took right before Geehon and I got married. Smile. I grew flowers to use in our wedding bouquets, and took pictures of them as they were growing. Say it with me now, “Awwwwww”.
