This Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing a beautifully simple outdoor wedding. It was refreshingly different from other shoots I do in that they hired me purely as a photojournalist for the afternoon. I did not “create” any poses for any images, rather spent the afternoon only capturing what was really happening in those moments. I try to bring a photojournalistic edge to all my work, but it always includes gathering all the wedding party and family together for relaxed group portraits, so this was a really fun change.
Her daughter was the flower girl…love those eyes.
I had so many favorites from the day that it was hard to choose which ones to blog, but there is something about this one that makes me love it.
All the guys wore kilts for the wedding. I love this one of them being manly.
I think this is my absolute favorite of the day.
Andrea changed into a cute little black dress and shoes for the reception.
