Tyler & Linnea got married this Saturday!
Here is Linnea putting on her wedding gown…
I love the expression on her bridesmaid’s face right here. She was saying to someone, “Go get the crochet hook!” to fasten the buttons all down the back of Linnea’s gown.
And I of course had to include a shot of Dodger the dog, complete with Tuxedo and ladies fondling him. A note to any brides who might be thinking of including their pug in the ceremony: they breathe
really loudly! He was pretty studly though.

We were stuck in a basement with fluorescent lighting for much of the time (Yay for flash and a good diffuser – used on above photo and below right), but we got to go outside for a few…

After the ceremony, we headed to the fairgrounds in Canby, Oregon for the reception.
This guy cracked me up. He’s a friend of the bride and groom, and loves playing with photography in his free time. While we were outside shooting, he literally bolted up this significantly tall tree, perched on a branch and started shooting. I want this guy on my team!
Tyler & Linnea had a slammin’ reception. The DJ was working it, and the whole dance floor was crowded with party people. I LOVE that. It’s so much fun to shoot. At one point, they were dancing in a circle and I couldn’t shoot over the top of them, so I crawled into the middle to lay on my back and grab these last shots.
Work it.
