Our local library turned 100 years old! They did Centennial celebration events all month (or at least part of the month?), and one of them was a “100 years, 100 blocks” event, where you pay money to walk your butt off.
I’m being sarcastic, but it was a very cool Walkathon to raise money for the new children’s library remodel. Mike and I happen to be good friends with the children’s Librarian, and that guy who married her.
Above is a picture of Mike and I being very excited because we did something sort of athletic. I know 5 miles is a walk in the park for some people, but considering that we’re usually just good at chilling out and watching The Office in the evenings, I think we deserve a hoorah.
