Weekend [part 3] last one!

For those of you who don’t know, I was home schooled (yes, one of THOSE) from fourth grade clear through High School graduation.  Early on, I joined a fabulous geeky class called the Home School Literary Circle, taught by the marvelous Mrs. English.  We did Shakespeare play readings, studied Paradise Lost, and – at least in my case – thanked God that my mother was not half as crazy conservative as some of the world’s home school parents.

Some of those friends stuck.  I love them.  We all got busy (and a bunch of them got married & pregnant!), but we’ve been trying to get together at least every other month or so.  We take turns hosting, we talk, goof off, play guitar hero, and eat Sara Spelled Without an H’s amazing baked goods.

This weekend Ted & Bethany hosted and we had a picnic at Mt. Tabor.

All the girls.  Left to right: Sara (pregnant!), Rosalie (pregnant!), Me (NOT pregnant), Becca (pregnant too!), Bethany (NOT pregnant!)

Hooray for good friends, good food, and Darian’s awesome remote control dragonfly.  Which I wish I had.  So I could fly it again.
