I’d been dying to play with some night photography with my new Canon 5d. These were originally going to be lit only with a flashlight, but I only have one flashlight and it happens to be the head lamp I took with me to
Burning Man. Let’s just say the batteries did not enjoy the alkali dust and the whole thing had to get tossed. So, instead I used a reading lamp with a 60watt bulb.I shot most of these at ISO 1000, for those of you who are interested. The quality stayed nice – not too grainy at all, and I was able to handhold all of these at 1/50th of a second & faster.
Awe, look at that studly redhead.
He absolutely loves his orange schecter 5-string bass. A worthwhile birthday present I believe.
