You may have noticed in recent Twitters (up at the top right), that Mike & I are doing a 15-day No Spending Challenge. We are on day 7, and I have to say I am so proud of how creative we’ve been and how bored we have NOT gotten. We’ve come up with delicious things to make out of next to nothing, have not bought any fast food or gone to see any movies or anything of that sort. The only things we’ve purchased are 1 gallon of milk and a carton of Oatmeal – and I don’t even count those because I used a gift card!
We decided that the 15-day No Spending Challenge was the perfect time to commense on making our puppets – something that we’ve been talking about and laughing about for weeks (in some cases, years).
It’s been a blast! They still don’t have hair, but here’s a sneak at what they look like so far…
We also did a goofy video blog with our hairless puppets… you might not enjoy it as much as we did – but I encourage you to keep watching. Puppet Mike tells a joke at the end. Huzzah.
