Maybe I’ll make this a weekly column, I’m not sure. I AM sure that today is Sunday and I have some confessions to make.
I am going through severe Wedding Photography Withdrawals. The same thing happened last year. It’s happened every year since I started shooting weddings. October comes around and there just aren’t many folks getting hitched that have hired me as their photographer.
I know Wedding Photography Withdrawals sounds silly. People frequently hear what I do and comment, “Wow! I wouldn’t want that job. It must be so stressful! Good for you!” But I seriously love it. Yes, of course it can be stressful at times. Yes, of course you occasionally get the drunken uncle or the stressed family members; but it’s SO WORTH IT. That’s why I’m still doing it, and why I would like to continue to do it, and why I get so bummed out when the season is over.
If my posting is a little less frequent, feel free to leave me a comment saying, “Hey! Where are you?” I’m still here. I’m just…you know… mourning the lack of wedding photos. On the brighter side though, I have a senior session this weekend, so I’ll be showing you some sneak peeks of that. Yay! I’ve also been doing some documentary photography for the largest online public charter school in America, but since it’s a public school so I can’t show you the images
.
So there you have it. I have confessed.

Anonymous - Just to clarify, folks…I made it to the call backs, not actually to being on Jeopardy.
Loads of fun, though.
Just my kind of fun…not heather’s.
