You will most likely be getting an email tomorrow morning that includes this photo, but just in case I thought I’d post it here as well. This is our Christmas card this year. Nice and simple. I set the camera on the tripod with the timer and Mike & I took a few shots as the snow was falling in our backyard…

Today is the day we were supposed to drive to Southern Oregon and back in one day to visit my in-laws. The weather is not permitting, to say the least. We tried to go for a walk this morning, and quickly discovered that the snow [a foot deep in places] is covered with a very thick crust of ice. I had my PJs on underneath my coat, my hair unfixed under my hat, and a broom in my right hand acting as slip support! I didn’t think we would go very far. At least an hour later, we were at the Coffee Cottage with rosy cheeks and sore legs, partaking in THE BEST hot cider I have ever had. It was also crepe Sunday…totally worth the effort to get there after being cooped up in the house so much!
