Rachel + Jesse were married in Abigail’s Garden at Abernethy Center on Thursday this week. The rain didn’t get them down! And I discovered I can hold an umbrella with my armpit and keep shooting, thanks to a brief armpit-holding tutorial from my second photographer Ryan
.
The lovely Rachel getting all gussied up…

Gorgeous bouquet by Wendy [sorry I don't have a link at the moment]…

I loved Jesse’s expression when he saw Rachel for the first time…

Rain and sunshine!

Love that eye [well, she actually has TWO of them]…

This gorgeous necklace was handmade by a friend of Rachel’s…

An umbrella duel broke out…

Jesse waiting for his bride…
The ceremony was moved under the reception tent due to the weather.

Rachel teared up during her vows, and it was so sweet!

Yay! Mr. and Mrs.!

A moment during the first dance…

Jesse + Rachel: You were so relaxed through all the crazy weather! Thanks for braving it with us for photographs
. I hope you have a FABULOUS honeymoon.

Bride's Family - We love this sampling of photos! Everyone looks so natural and relaxed. You did a fabulous job! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer.
Joel Bock - Great shots, Heather! I agree that the dancing one is a nice capture. I also like the way you’re using the textures on a couple of the photos. And the ring shots are really nice, too. Were you using the lens baby? Great work, friend!
dutchgirl - i LOVE the close up of rachel’s face where you see the smattering of freckles across her check. lovely!
Bethany - ooohhh…the bouquet is yummy!
