I have to admit that the main reason I wanted to visit the Smithsonian while I was on the East Coast was to see Julia Child’s kitchen. I read her book “My Life in France” and became completely enchanted by her spirit and passion for her work. My husband and I have spent happy hours re-watching old episodes of The French Chef, and we love (who doesn’t?!) the film Julie&Julia.
The kitchen is behind glass now, so – like a kid in a candy store – I pressed my nose (and my camera) up against the windows and pretended I was having tea with Julia. You are invited too, of course.

Cheryl Oldham - I saw the pots and pans when they were at Copia in Napa but I would love to see the whole kitchen! I sort of feel like I have now. Thanks Heather!
