Retroactive Kids | Vintage-Inspired Seattle Children’s Store

Okay, so I might be just the weensiest bit biased, but I think Retroactive Kids is the best toy store I have ever been to.

I’m always happy for an excuse to go and visit family in Seattle, so I was thrilled my Aunt Trisha wanted me to take some photos of her store for their website.  They used to be in a smaller store, but relocated to a gorgeous space in the up and coming Columbia City in Washington.  My aunt designs all the displays and “artsy” things, and she let me do a new window display while I was there (so fun!).

They have a stellar mix of new and vintage toys, books, clothing and trinkets.  And, if your kid needs a haircut, Columbia City Cuts is right at the back!  They have a salon chair that’s a car.  It’s awesome.  Next time you’re in Seattle, I highly recommend popping in.
