I don’t know if you could tell from past blog posts of mine, but I don’t really have any “rules” when it comes to selecting which images I blog.  Maybe I should!  I tend to just go through and just pick the ones that really stand out to me.  That’s why sometimes there will be a whole bunch from one part of a day, and not much from another, or like four different ring shots because they’re ALL my favorites!  Please feel free to let me know if there is anything you would like to see more of on a regular basis, or anything you’d like me to go in depth on more often.

I know some readers have expressed they like when I give background on certain images, so I will be doing that on a few here.

BELOW: This image was actually taken in one of the mansion’s bathrooms, and it ended up being one of my favorite rooms because it has amazing light.

BELOW: This is the bride and the little ring bearer.  I want to pinch his cheeks, he’s so cute. BELOW: The entire grounds at the mansion get lit up at night, and it’s absolutely gorgeous.  This is one of my favorite shots. BELOW: I didn’t do the ring shots until during the reception, but I wanted to do some funky lighting and get some good shadows going on.  Sometimes I’ll use my Sunpak Readylite, but this time I just set the rings on a tablecloth, put my STE-2 transmitter on my camera and had it fire my flash from the side.  I like it.
