Christmas/White Elephant/Costume Bash 2010!

Some hilarious photos from our Newberg Photographers’ Second Annual Christmas Party. . . Joel Bock took the majority of these, but he’s swamped with album designing so I volunteered to blog it! [And thanks for hosting man!]

As it turns out, Rachel and Jon have an amazing dress-up collection, and they just happened to bring a big chunk of it with them to the party.  We had a blast performing a cheese-tastic photo shoot in front of the fireplace.

I am SO thankful for these friends.  Sadly, the wedding photography industry can be ridiculously cold-shouldered and competitive.  I am thankful to have found this core group of amazing photographers who are so down-to-earth.  Business thrives when you have a group of people who support each other!  Okay, I’ll get off my soap box now.  On to the pictures!

First up, Joel Bock and his brand new baby Kylan!  I attribute the awesomeness of this photo to Rachel and Jon’s Mickey Mouse gloves, and Emily G’s mad camera skills.

Bryan and Leah Rupp with baby Wellington.  And a fez.  Bryan’s flashing a little swimsuit crotch there.  Scandalized? Rachel and Jon, demonstrating their modeling finesse. Erica Bader, Emily G, and Myself.

I think I need to steel that hat.  It would be perfect for winter wedding gigs, no? Joel’s son is also a Mexican wrestler.  See? This one just cracks me up. Don’t let the foam guns fool you.  Emily IS bad-ass. Deer in the headlights! Moi. The happy Bock family. Captain E. Captain and Son. Joel, rockin’ the ‘stache. True story. The whole gang!  We were missing a couple people for these photos [like John & Erin!], but here we are.

Here is Emily, with her White Elephant prize, the classic “Trim & Twist: The Executive Exerciser.”  Look at her go!

For my contribution to the white elephant gift exchange, I got one of those coffee mugs you can make your own photo insert for.  The snowman heads are from our last Christmas bash where we did some “Joweling”.
