Bethany recently asked me for a copy of the photos we did back in 2008 in a wheat field.  That might not sound like a long time ago, but back then I was still working on a Canon Rebel XTi and the kit-lens it came with!  It’s amazing how much things have changed, and how much I have learned in just three years.  It was fun to go back through these and remember. . .

I’ve known Noah’s mama Angela for years, and I’m so excited for their new family.  Congratulations you guys!

Since we were at the mercy of the weather and a tight timeline on the wedding day, I met up with Austin+Erin the next morning so we could hang out and have a quiet morning to get more photos of just the two of them.  And I’m so glad we did!  The weather was perfect. . . any excuse for more time and more photos with these two.

We were visited by a whole family of monkeys in a tree.  I did not get to bring one home with me.

IN OTHER NEWS: I have a Celebrating Adoption session to show you, a James Bond-inspired birthday party to show you, plus a ton of personal work from Jamaica, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.  I am leaving this Thursday for a beautiful NY wedding though, so thank you for your patience between blog posts.  I’ll be back on July 28th with even MORE wedding photos and personal work!  It must be wedding season.
